The Company is firmly committed to on-going staff training and up-skilling and are justifiably proud to be one of the first services contracting companies in Ireland to be accredited with the “Excellence Through People” award in recognition of the Company achieving the National Standard for Human Resource Development. 

Seamus Byrne Electrical Ltd is one of the leading apprentice training companies in the electrical industry.   Many current qualified electricians have completed their apprenticeship with our company.

Apprenticeship Training Cycle

The apprenticeship education cycle consists of 7 modules of training.  4 of these modules 1, 3, 5 & 7 are spent working on the job while 3 modules 2, 4 & 6 are spent in college.  The apprenticeship system is a standards based system and qualification is based on achieving the necessary standard at each stage of the apprentices training.  On satisfactory completion of the 7 modules, the successful apprentice will be awarded the national craft certificate which is recognised world wide.  The duration of the apprenticeship is normally approximately 4 years.
